Head Chef Brad Sampson has created an exciting summer menu that consists of 10 tapas items as starters that include Peking Duck crepes, Fried sumac Prawns, Spanish meatballs to name a few. Our Winelist is extensive and a bottle can be bought for a little or a lot! A reserve collection is available should you be looking for a special bottle from a climate controlled cellar. We have a great selection of beers on tap with a few craft beers for the beer connoisseur. We aim to be different therefore it shouldn't surprise you that we are the only tap beer venue on the peninsula serving Hoegaarden and Dogbolter by Matilda Bay along with craft beer Fat Yak and Carlton Draught for the not so adventurous!
We pride ourselves on having the Internationally renowned "coffee culture of Melbourne" right here in Rosebud. Our baristas are trained and addicted!
Live Acoustic music, is a regular at the GPO. All Year round you will find quality Local and Melbourne musicians on the weekends, Feature nights this summer include a Cat Stevens Tribute night on Years Eve with Paul Dillon and Josh Roydhouse and band. Other regular acts include The James Vincent Trio, Steve Romig, Marty Williams Simon Dodd and the President Roots, Lisa Edwards and duo "Something to Talk About".

The Rose GPO offers four main areas to relax. The outdoor alfresco area with iconic London Plane tree and timber pergola for summer shade offers a casual summer eating and drinking area. Inside the front section offers couches, ottomans and casual eating area with bar leading to the still casual yet slightly more restaurant orientated rear section of the hotel. The fit out modern with beautiful imported wallpapers, rustic chandeliers and soft furnishings that scream RELAX!
